Mission in Practice
Teaching the Catholic values such as social justice, service and charity requires action. Our students participate in real mission programs, which we find helps them understand and connect with their faith as meaningful and relevant.
Mission in action programs include Mini Vinnies and Caritas, which see students raising awareness and funds for people in need, both locally and internationally.
Caritas Australia is the Catholic Church’s international aid and development agency, which works to confront the challenges of poverty through locally-led programs. Caritas means ‘love’.
Mini Vinnies empowers primary school students to become advocates within their school and local community by putting their values into action.
