Co-Curricular

St Benedict’s Catholic School offers specialist lessons in Spanish, Technologies, Physical Education, Music and Dance/ Drama. All of these subjects are curriculum based.

• During Spanish lessons, students are immersed in language and cultural experiences. Learning other languages encourages cultural appreciation and creativity, improves memory and communication skills and creates new pathways in our brain.
• Physical Education helps us to develop our gross motor skills and improves physical health and fitness while also teaching self- discipline and self-confidence and respect.
• During Technologies lessons students will engage in digital technologies where they will use chromebooks, ipads and robotics and design technologies where they will have opportunity to get creative in our Makerspace and learn how to identify and solve design challenges.
• Music, Dance and Drama engages the brain, helps cultivate communication skills, allows students to express themselves and contributes to creativity and imagination.
